| Civil War Ball Gowns |
Our Civil War Ball Gowns are made of a variety of
fabrics. The one shown here is made of a lovely
taffeta that rustles as a lady walks or when she
makes the rounds through the ballroom on the arm
of her favorite beau.
Adorned with beading lace, satin ribbons and bows,
this bodice laces up the back with a modesty panel
for maximum adjustment. The bodice is separate
to the skirt, which is gathered into a waistband.
The skirt is very full and is shown below in a
progression of hoop skirts ranging from smaller to
larger bottom/hem circumference.
