Our Policies
Deadlines and Turn-around Times
We reqiuire a MINIMUM of 8 WEEKS after your first payment to construct
your costume. Please plan ahead!!  When you order, we require a
deadline (convention, festival, wedding, highland games, etc. that you will
be attending) so that
WE can plan ahead!  We will always give you a quote
on your costume based on several different criteria (fabrics, number of
pieces invlolved in the costume, etc.)  Please allow us 1 week to research
your costume needs/requirements before you receive your quote.
Measurements and Photos
Each costume is made to order, specifically for you!  Therefore, we need
accurate measurements and pictures of the character you would like to
be, or the costume you would like to have made.  This helps us make the
best possible recreation for you!  If you are not able to visit us at our
Studio in North Carolina, you can obtain a measurement form here:
Measurment Forms and Instructions.   Print it out on your printer and
have someone help you take your measurements.  Then, go to our form
and fill in your specifics, and press send.  We will then have your
measurements and can progress from there.  For our Anime customers:  
please do not send pictures of other cosplayers. Pictures of the actual
character are the BEST!!!
Shipping Methods
When your costume is completed, we will notify you via e-mail or phone call
(your choice) to let you know it is being shipped to you!  We ship all packages
via USPS throughout the United States and Canada.  We will provide you with
Tracking Numbers for each package we send to you.  Shipping costs are based
on the weight of your package, and insurance if requested.
We accept money orders, checks (with 2 forms of ID), Visa and Master Card.

page on our website.  We can also send you an invoice via PayPal.  Please,
DO NOT send your Credit Card number over the internet via e-mail!  It's
just not safe!

After receiving the initial quote for your costume, and you wish to pursue
the creation of your costume, we require a 50% deposit.  Please note, if you
desire any changes to you costume (different fabrics, extra pieces, etc) after
the initial contract has been signed,
additional charges may/ will apply and
shall be agreed upon by you, the customer (you), and the costume designer
(Seams Wright Costume Designs).  An updated contract will be generated
and mailed to you for your signature indicating the new changes/charges.

The 50% deposit is used for the procurement of the fabrics, trims, and other
items needed for the construcition and completion of your costume. The
balance of the total is due prior to the shipment of your costume.

You will receive pictures of the finished costume via e-mail or USPS prior to
the shipment, so you can anticipate what will be coming to your doorstep in
the near future!!

We pride ourselves in the quality and integrity that we put into each
piece of every costume. You willl be able to tell immediately!  Our
garment construction standards will allow you to wear your costume to
festivals, reenactments, conventions and highland games for years and
years (with proper care and cleaning - of course!).
